Nice to meet you. My name is Kelsey Caviezel and I love animals. Since I was very little I have been passionate about our furry, and not so furry, friends. My dog journey began at Sumner Veterinary hospital. I worked there as a kennel technician in the boarding facility. I also worked as a receptionist for the veterinary ER. At the time I had taken a vet tech class and, thought I was on my way to saving lives with medicine. Although I am still first aid and CPR certified I did not end up pursuing medicine. After dealing with the heart wrenching truth, that is dogs being euthanized for behavioral issues, I had a pretty huge shift in thinking. During the heat of Covid19 lockdowns I started working at doggie daycare facilities while getting my hands on as much information as I could on canine behavior, ethology and, basically, transformed into a huge dog geek! I wanted to know everything! After a few years I got my first job training dogs at PetSmart. I am accredited trainer via PetSmart and, a CPDT via Victoria Stillwell Academy! I love what I do. I only utilize science based, positive reinforcement training. I believe, with everything in me, that a well-trained dog, that is confident in themself, and in their environment, can have a freedom that branches far past the white picket fence.
